The student special interest group of the Florida Physical Therapy Association (FPTA) was approved by the FPTA Board of Directors to promote the interests of Florida Physical Therapy Students. The SSIG is here to serve as the voice for Florida's physical therapy and physical therapist assistant students. Make us your source!

Some goals of the FPTA SSIG are:

1. To promote and provide for the exchange of information among all PT and PTA students in the state of Florida.
2. To promote the membership in, involvement in, and understanding of the Association, chapter and SSIG among students.
3. To represent the interests of students (SSIG members) before the official decision-making bodies of the Association, chapter and other components.
4. To assist the Association and chapter in furthering the profession of Physical Therapy in the state of Florida.
