The voting members of the Board of Directors are the President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, three Directors-at-Large, 6 Regional Directors, the Affiliate Director, the Cultural Diversity Director, the Chief Delegate and the Speaker of the Assembly. The Executive Vice President serves as an ex-officio member of the Board.

Board members shall:

• carry out the duties explained within the FPTA Bylaws;
• be familiar with the principles of parliamentary procedure;
• attend all meetings of the Board of Directors;
• notify the President when unable to attend a Board meeting;
• be present and available to the membership throughout the conferences;
• make considerable effort to visit the Exhibit Hall and thank the Exhibitors for their support;
• serve on one of the board panels.
