Finance Committee
The Finance Committee is chaired by the chapter Treasurer and includes the
chapter President, the Panel Coordinators, and two members at large who are
not serving on the Board of Directors. The members at large are appointed by
the chairman upon recommendation of the Board of Directors to serve rotating
three year terms.
The Finance Committee is responsible for developing and monitoring an ongoing
plan to meet the current and anticipated future financial needs of the chapter.
The committee also reviews and recommends adjustments to reimbursement allowances
at least annually, based on guidelines from the IRS and other state and federal
regulatory agencies.
Any proposals for income generating activities by any subgroup of the FPTA
must be authorized by the Finance Committee and approved by the Board of Directors.
