Federal government affairs Liaison is appointed by the FPTA Board of Directors and is a responsible for maintaining contct with APTA. This member then relays information about legislative efforts on the national level for the FPTA Board of Directors and FPTA members. An Egroup has been established on “Yahoo”. Admission is open to all FPTA members by emailing the Federal Government Affairs Liaison.

Current activity is related to Medicare Direct Access and the permanent repeal of the $1500 cap on physical therapy.
