Budget Committee
The Budget Committee consists of the Treasurer, the President and the Executive
Vice President.
The purpose of this committee is to prepare and present the annual operational
budget of the chapter to the Finance Committee, which is comprised of non-discretionary
budget items. “Non-discretionary budget items” are those expected
expenditures that are necessary to carry out the operational plan of the association
within any given year. Many of these expenses are dictated by chapter bylaws
or by motions approved by the Assembly of Representatives. Others are determined
by assessing the requests of the various panels and committees in view of the
FPTA strategic plan, recognizing that total expenditures are constrained by
expected revenue.
