House
Releases PIP Draft Bill
State Repersentative Ellyn Bogdanoff has released a house bill
draft that would reinstitute the provisions of no-fault insurance and PIP, but
there is no agreement to include the issue in the Legislative Special Session.
The bill does include some non-emergency medical care services such as physical
therapy, but only if the services are provided in a hospital owned facility,
a physician-owned clinic, or a licensed health care facility with a physician
medical director, licensed as health care facility under AHCA. No Fault and
PIP will sunset on October 1, if no action is taken by the legislature prior
to that date.
